The Next Yorkshire Region Hasler Race is:
The Mike Jones Memorial Marathon on the River Derwent
on Sunday 10th June 2018
at The Tidal Barrage, Barmby on the Marsh, Near Howden. DN14 7HX
This is the penultimate race in this year’s series and we are currently one point behind Pennine! We therefore need your entry! If you wish to enter, you can in advance (See Neil Marley) or you can enter on the day. Over 12’s can race in any boat (4 miles). If you are not sure about racing but want to sample the atmosphere, there is a fun race in any boat (but it doesn’t count towards Hasler points).
Boring stuff: Use of Club Equipment:
If you want to be considered for the use of club equipment please register your name and requirements by 7th June on the sheet in our boathouse. Equipment will be issued in line with our Equipment Policy 2017
Malton Hasler Results
Malton Hasler results are now on the British Canoeing Marathon Racing committee’s website. We had promotions for Neil Marley from div 7 to div 5, and for Tom Shoulder and Alex Riley from div 8 to div 7 (Alex started the season paddling for Lincoln so will have to do so for the last races of this season).
