Our winter pool sessions start on Saturday 3rd October and we still have spaces available for October and November. Please book at the river with Gail this Tuesday or Thursday at the river.
Sessions are again at 4:00 pm and 4:50 pm on Saturday evenings.
The cost is the same as last year, £8.50 per person per session (pool fees are beyond our control. Compared to other clubs it is still excellent value for money). Pool sessions are by the calendar month and to ensure we cover pool hire charges we must ask for the full month paid in advance please.
October is a 5-week month: October 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 – Total cost £42.5 per paddler
November is a 4 week month: November 7, 14, 21 & 28 – Total cost £34 per paddler
- Up to a max of 2 places per session can be for freestyle (playboating). Even if you have not tried playboating on the river you can try it in the pool.
- We must ensure we cover our pool costs so there are no refunds if you miss a week, unless we can resell your place. If you think you will miss a week, please let the bookings officer know by the Wednesday before the session if possible to give us time to sell your space. Obviously there will be last minute illnesses, but please let us know as soon as possible and we will try to resell your place.
- If you cannot get the month you want, please add your name to our reserve list and we will endeavour to contact you if there is a cancellation. Last minute Saturday cancellations may be advertised on our Facebook page on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Please do not resell your place yourself to friends as we will have a reserve list of people wanting to paddle.
