We are pleased to announce that work has started on the new path that will give wheelchair access from our boathouse to the jetty, and from our boathouse to the leisure centre to access their toilets. This path reinforces our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Planning permission and funding had to be sought so many thanks to our project team (Michelle, Iain and Martin) for getting this project over the line.
Work should be finished next week.
However, there has already been reports of graffiti. Does anyone know a Michelle? Fortunately her work will be hidden by the pavers when they go in!!
