Is Sunday July 5th. If you want to borrow a club boat, especially an open canoe, please add your name to the list in the boathouse so that we can assess the kit we will need.
We will decide on the route for the trip on the day, taking into account the weather and number of boats to move. Whatever we do, you will need a picnic!! (You lunch will be stored in an open canoe, you don’t need to carry it in a kayak). More details.
Club Polo and Fun Day
Is Sunday July 19th, but we need your help!!
First of all we need at least 15 paddlers to commit to the polo, or else we can’t have a tournament!. Remember this is open to ALL club paddlers, regardless of ability (We relax the rules).
PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP THAT YOU WILL BE ENTERING. this is because we are also planning to follow the polo with a fun day to raise funds, with various stalls and a public “try it” session, but before we fully commit to this we need to know we will have enough polo players to be able to put on the event.
We also need helpers to man the stall (coaches will be needed elsewhere), so if you are available and can help, please email publicity@gscc-online.com or better still, come and talk to Annette Wallis this Thursday.
