There is marathon training on the river plus ergos this Saturday afternoon 15th November.
Be ready to go on the water at 2pm to give plenty of time before people head of to the pool. Dress appropriately. normal fees apply. If you fancy posting a time on the ergos be there early (from 1:30pm)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kept an eye on Facebook for last minute availability for the pool this Saturday evening 15th November. A reminder that Michelle will be at the river and pool each Saturday, (apart from 29\/11), selling tickets for our awards night at \u00a37.50 per person. It is always a great night with music, games, buffet and the awards part of the evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Also a reminder Michelle will be collecting sweet tubs as part of Tub to Pub scheme to raise funds for Macmillan\u2019s cancer Support. Please bring them along to Michelle at the pool between now and end of January or to the awards night. They can also be left at the boat house during Saturday afternoon river sessions. Or you can drop them in at a Greene King pub: Ashby Lodge, The old Farmhouse, Warren Lodge or Queensway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Committee is now seeking nominations from the membership for our prestigious awards. Don’t forget we also have places left in our 3 week block before Xmas: <\/strong>November 29th, December 6th & 13th. Sessions are again at 4:00 pm and 4:50 pm on Saturday evenings.The cost is \u00a38.50 per person per session <\/strong><\/em>(pool fees are beyond our control). – Total cost \u00a325.50 per paddler. Compared to other clubs it is still excellent value for money.
