Following the impressive performance by our core team at the Hasler Finals last Sunday, we will be training again on the river this Saturday. Newcomers are welcome – we have a range of club boats to cater for all abilities and ages.
We try to get on the water by 2 pm and paddle for about an hour (sometimes stretching to two hours depending on conditions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This week we will need to get our boats and kit packed up ready for the race at Barmby on the Marsh on Sunday.
If anyone wants to join the squad at Barmby you need to speak with me on Thursday at the end of season BBQ so that I can include your entry. For most beginners it is a 4 mile race but 14 and unders can choose a shorter 2 mile course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PS, Saturday is boat cleaning day for the pool sessions. Why not make a day of it? Clean boats in the morning then paddle in the afternoon? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
