{"id":3980,"date":"2022-03-20T19:35:35","date_gmt":"2022-03-20T19:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gscc-online.com\/news\/?p=3980"},"modified":"2022-03-20T19:35:35","modified_gmt":"2022-03-20T19:35:35","slug":"first-aid-course-passes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gscc-online.com\/news\/2022\/03\/20\/first-aid-course-passes\/","title":{"rendered":"FIRST AID COURSE PASSES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Well done to Graham &amp; Sue Simpkin, Martin Heywood and Shane Bourne for successfully completing their 16 hour Level 3 outdoor first aid course this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And also very well done to Lydia Heath-Sargent and Ellen Woodward for completing their 8 hour outdoor first aid course on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means Graham, Sue and Martin are now fully re-validated to continue coaching for the next three years, and Shane, Lydia and Ellen are one step closer to become our next generation of paddlesport coaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all had a great time and thanks to Jo Joveini for delivering the course, which was also attended by paddleboard instructors from Cleethorpes and scouts and D of E Award leaders from Beverley and Driffield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the biggest thanks goes to our wonderful catering team of Jean, Gail and Michelle who provided bacon &amp; egg butties in the morning and and a cooked dinner at lunch time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are photos of one of the fantastic meals they prepared, and one photo of Shane after resuscitation by Martin!
