Our race on Sunday 17th<\/sup> October is an important day in our calendar but it needs volunteers to make it a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the jobs can be done by non-paddlers and are a great opportunity for parents and other family members to get involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the club committee will be leading on the day but any assistance would be greatly appreciated (free coffee\/tea for all helpers)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Helpers with catering and cake stall<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Car Park enforcer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Assistant check-in\/starter\/timekeeper\/finish marshal (two ideally)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Jetty marshal \u2013 to control those getting on and off the water<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Turn marshal at the white house for the junior race (this can be done from the bank or from a boat)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Turn marshal at Castlethorpe bridge (this can be from the bank or boat)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Turn marshal at Cadney Bridge (bank based)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Chaperone paddler for the junior race<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Possibly \u2013 marshal at the motorway bridge (bank or boat)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7        Pre-start marshal (bank based)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
