Fancy Dress Torchlit Paddle 2018

Get your\u00a0BBQ Tickets by Tuesday 2nd October<\/h3>\n

Your last chance to get BBQ tickets for the BBQ is after our Fancy Dress Paddle is next Tuesday, so make sure you don’t miss our annual end-of-river-season Fancy Dress Torchlit Paddle! Dress up yourself and your boat however you like (but keep it safe, you still need your buoyancy aid!) and finish off with lots of lights (don’t forget your head torch!). We request your fancy dress costumes are suitable for the ages attending (that means there are youngsters there!)<\/p>\n

Please be at the river for our normal start time of 6:00pm, but don’t forget to allow plenty of time to decorate your boat.\u00a0We will have judging on the bank before the paddle starts. There might even be a prize!\u00a0Then we’ll \u00a0paddle upstream past the railway bridge and return in the dark!!<\/p>\n

Please add your name to the attendance list in the boathouse. This will also reserve you your boat of choice (kayak or canoe) on a first come first\u00a0served basis<\/p>\n

Then it’s BBQ time outside the boathouse! (But you MUST have a ticket for the BBQ)<\/p>\n
