Polo player Mikey Thornber reports some good news of\u00a0our polo team G&S Anchovies!:<\/p>\n

“We were sent the final results for the 2017-18 season\u00a0Yorkshire Region Canoe Polo league\u00a0today and I\u2019m proud to announce we finished an impressive 2nd place in Division 3!\u00a0This is\u00a0despite the fact that unfortunately\u00a0the team missed the first tournament and were a player short for our second tournament, meaning we automatically lost a total of 6 games (3-0). However, the two tournaments we did attend we won every game played and therefore finished in the top 2 in the final table! The full table can be seen below.<\/p>\n

Thank you to all players who played this season and we look forward to taking our success into next season with hopefully more people interested in polo!”<\/p>\n

So well done the Anchovies! Don’t forget that if you’d like to try polo we can include it in our Tuesday evening discipline session at 7:00 pm, so please contact any coach if you’d like to try.
