Our new marathon boats and paddles arrived at our boathouse this morning and they look fantastic!<\/p>\n

Neil and\u00a0Steve were there to off-load them and store them on the re-positioned racks, and Martin arrived later to take some more\u00a0pics.<\/p>\n

At the moment, the boats are\u00a0\u00a0just to look at!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The boats are\u00a0not<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0going to be used on the Tuesday or Thursday evening training sessions (more details about them soon) until the<\/p>\n

club’s equipment policy and training packages are agreed and finalised by the committee.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0 is to ensure fair usage. This applies to everyone, including coaches, so no, we haven’t had a go in them today!<\/p>\n

There are 8 boats in three different stability factors (10, 8 an 6, where 10 is marathon beginner and 1 is World Championship standard)<\/p>\n

and they are in a specially designed colour scheme based on our club colours.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0can be seen below, Neil is rather excited!<\/p>\n
