\nIn our Xmas newsletter we announced that we had been successful in securing \u00a34200 of funds from Sport England to buy two Ergo indoor kayak training machines, known as Ergo’s, and we thought we’d let you know our progress and start to tell you what we are going to do with them.<\/p>\n

U Canoe and Indoor Kayak Racing<\/h2>\n

When we have everything in place and have trained our coaches, we will be able to deliver Canoe England’s U Canoe and Indoor Kayak Racing initiatives. More details will be announced later, but in the meantime you can find out more here:

Equipment latest<\/h2>\n

The Ergo’s themselves are due in February and we have been spending the rest of the grant money on the \u00a0associated equipment we need to be able to deliver U Canoe sessions. Other Uses for the Screen<\/h2>\n

The screen is 42″ HD TV\u00a0and we will be able to display photographs and videos from club events and all show kayaking and instructional videos.
