The Ancholme River Festival with the rowing club is coming up soon, on Saturday 27th May, Bank Holiday weekend and also the farmers market.
We haven’t run this for a few years due to Covid, but it’s great day. We are looking for volunteers to:
- Staff our stall in the Market place
- Hand out flyers to the public in the market place
- Escort anyone who needs help finding us
- Help getting people kitted up ready to go on the river.
- Help with registration and booking in at he rowing club
- Coaches to supervise and instruct on the water
The first 4 are great jobs for our youngsters. Here are some photos from previous years.
