We are please to announce five of our members have successfully passed their British Canoeing Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Paddlesport at Manvers last weekend, so many congratulations to Koren Doyle, Dan Snow, Garry Clayton, Gerry Parker and Graham Everatt. This is a four day course, run over the last two weekends and is the culmination of much hard work from them all.
It is also especially pleasing that 4 of the 5 started their paddling careers with us as complete begineers and so our current coaches can take some pride in their achievements.
We would also like to welcome a new Level 2 coach to the club. Ben Mitchell has recently moved into the area for a new job and joined us this week. We hope he enjoys coaching and paddling with us!
