Several of our coaches and trainee coaches, and a couple of bank-based officials, refreshed their first aid qualifications this weekend, completing a 16 hour Level 3 Award in Outdoor First-aid. For the coaches this has to be done every three years to ensure their coaching status is re-vaildated with PaddleUK.
Iain, Neil, Tom, Olly, Matt, Dave, Gerry, Stephen Maltby, Michelle (fundraising) and Kelly (welfare) all successfully completed the course. Last year Steve Burnett, Graham, Sue and Martin did theirs.
The course was held in Hibaldstow and was run by Jim Milner of Wildnerness Ways.
