Saturday 3rd January 1.30pm on the water.
We are planning a new year social paddle for 1:30 pm on Saturday 3rd January, primarily in canoe and tourers, though general purpose kayak also welcome. No racing boats or playboats. Experienced SUP paddlers are welcome too.
Come well dressed to keep warm – and why not bring a warm drink and nibbles? (our kitchen will be closed. but you can help yourself to boiling water).
Hopefully we will be paddling round the island, so about three miles. Youngsters who can’t manage three miles are recommended to paddle or sit in a canoe with an experienced canoeist.
Open to all and there is no charge for this event.
HOWEVER there are the usual conditions!:
- Subject to favourable weather and river conditions!
- Subject to coach availability. (at the moment that’s not a problem)
