The Sun newspaper are doing an article promoting the Tesco Stronger Starts Grants at our river session on on Tuesday 23rd July.
As we recently had £500 from Tesco, The Sun are sending people to our club session to do an interview/filming around how the £500 has helped us. As you may remember we bought buoyancy aids with the cash, photo below.
Over my years as fundraiser Tesco have been brilliant to us, we have purchased new kayaks, paddles, throwlines, a defibrillator and Covid equipment when we returned to water after the pandemic. We have also done bag packing instore raising funds for the club
Obviously if anyone is unhappy about been on film or photos on the night then please let us know on the night and we will make sure to keep you “out of the limelight”!
