Today Darren Roberts has added two boards below the high water line to the jetty to stop boats going under the jetty in low water.
Two 150mm deep boards have been installed with a 50mm gap between them on all three sides of the jetty that face the water. The lowest is just above the bottom of the river and the highest (visible in one the photos below) is approximately 140mm below the level of the top capping board. At high water they will not be visible.
Darren and his team have also removed the weeds and grass growing between the decking, and given it the once-over with the jet wash.
