Jamelia Snow sent in a couple of photos from Paddle in the Park in Nottingham last weekend. In the main picture Tom Shoulder, Honey Walters, Jamelia Snow and Ellie Beedham are posing in the Go Canoeing stand with Phil Scowcroft, British Canoeing’s Area Development Officer for our region.
In the strip below, second on the right is Ellie Beedham with a big thumbs-up for the event.
A few of our members attended Paddle in the Park at Nottingham with their families last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

This was a group of friends arranging their own trip using their own equipment and was not a GSCC sponsored club event, but hopefully we will be supporting the event next year. Dan Snow said there was lots to do, including whitewater tuition on the course at Holme Pierrepont, touring on the Nottingham Canoe Trail, and plenty of trade stands with boats to try.
