G&S Anchovies First Tournament of the Season
Saturday 11th October saw our Anchovies canoe polo team play their first tournament of the season in Div 3 of the Yorkshire Regional League.
Playing on the night were Dan Walker, Tom Kerr, Stacey Wilson, James Wilson, Owen Kelly and Lui Wright. They had a brilliant evening, winning all their 5 matches. The scores for each game were 3:2, 2:0, 4:0, 3:0 and 2:1 and Owen was top scorer with 6 goals.
The only experienced player was Dan, who helps with the coaching on a Monday evening, and he said he was very impressed with how everyone played.

Christmas Meal CANCELLED
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our proposed Christmas dinner at the Sutton Arms on Saturday 20th December because we have not had enough people committing to make it viable.
