Christmas Meal, Saturday 20th December

Our Christmas party has followed the same format for several years now, and we think it is time for a change. We have provisionally booked the Sutton Arms in Scawby for a three course Xmas meal on Saturday 20th December at 7:00pm.

We will have a room all to ourselves but we are limited to 50 places, on a first-come-first served basis. It is open at all, children included. Cost will be £20 per person (children under 10 year old £10)

We need to confirm the booking as soon as we can, so please can you express your interest by emailing publicity@gscc-online.com

Winter Pool Sessions: Places still Available!

Winter pool sessions start on Saturday 4th October and we still have places available There will be three sessions at 5:30pm, 6:20pm and 7:10pm. If you want a place, please email membership@gscc-online.com. or post on this newsletter’s Facebook status.

Courses run through a calendar month and cost is £5 per week, but we require payment in advance for the whole course to ensure we cover pool hire charges, so for October this will be £20.

Boat Cleaning

With the winter pool sessions starting tomorrow, we need to power clean the boats before they can go in the pool. If you can spare some time to help, we will beat the boathouse from 12:00pm on Saturday 4th October.

Rowing Club Event

Please note that the Ancholme Rowing Club have a large racing event on SUNDAY 12th OCTOBER 2014. Racing will be in 2 divisions at 11.15 and 14.45. If possible, can all paddlers avoid using the river this day. Thank you.
