Lincoln Results and Promotions
The confirmed results of the Lincoln race are now available https://entries.canoemarathon.org.uk/results/races/2025/lincoln-hasler-2025#race-div2
As expected Karl was promoted to Division 5 (8 miles next race Karl). Louie and Phil missed promotion this time but a surprise result is that I (Graham) was promoted to Div 6. Ouch – better get in some extra training!

Directions to Malton
Sunday traffic can be unpredictable. A good run from Brigg is 1 hour and 12 minutes according to Google Maps. This route is by going over the Humber Bridge/Beverley By-pass/Wetwang route. We do not recommend going via York as the A64 can be very busy.
The address for the Malton venue is: Malton & Norton Canoe Club, Sheepfoot Hill, Malton. YO17 7ED. This postcode may take you to the south side of the river, though on google maps it is taking you to the correct place on the north side of the river as shown in the red triangle below:
With satellite view switched on, the Malton club is marked with the red dot:
We will be approaching on the B1248 from Wetwang
Don’t forget your suncream and plenty of water to drink. There is no catering on site so you may bring sandwiches, though there is a Morrisons within walking distance.
