A reminder of what it is all about:
We always celebrate the end of our river season by dressing up yourself and your boat! (but keep it safe, you still need your buoyancy aid!).
Don’t forget your head torch, and decorate your boat with lots of lights as we paddle back in the dark.
Please be at the river for our normal meeting time of 6:00pm to allow plenty of time to decorate your boat. We will have judging on the bank before the paddle starts. There might even be a prize! Then we’ll paddle upstream past the railway bridge and back.
If you want to reserve a specific boat (a canoe for example as we don’t have many) please add you name to the list in the boathouse. Kayaks shouldn’t be a problem
Then when we are back it’s BBQ time outside the boathouse!
